It is great pleasure for me to introduce John Chris Jones, whose seminal book DESIGN METHODS (1992) published by Van Nostrand Reinhold, provided many a tool for designers. John Chris Jones rarely accepts invitations to speak at conferences therefore it is an honour to have him with us at 4D Dynamics.

A recent book DESIGNING DESIGNING explores design in the time dimension. I have admired his insights and he has been an influence on my ideas for 4D Design.
