Nigel Cross is Professor of Design Studies at the Open University, where
he is involved in muti-media learning in design and technology. His
research work has included computer applications in design, design
methodology and design epistemology.
Currently his main interest is
focused on design cognition, including studies of design expertise. He has
published widely, and is Editor-in-Chief of Design Studies.
Nigel Cross
was recently elected the first President of the International Association
of Societies of Design Research.
